My new puppy Zane
I adopted Zane from Caswell County Animal Shelter on May 1st. I almost didn't see him. He kept hiding. His little tail was so far up under him. I just love him. The first time he peed, it shot out the side because he was so low. He is 1/2 Bassett and 1/2 Beagle. I found out that is called a Bagle dog. He has short thick boned feet a a very large snout. He has learned in the past few weeks, how to climb stairs, use a pee pad, come when called, knows what potty means, and just loves people if they come on his level. Otherwise he is scared! yiks!! He loves me. Yippie!

August 28th, 2008 Flooding on Phibbs Road
Yesterday I went home to our bridge being flooded out. Thank God no one got hurt. This is the remnants from the remains of the Hurricane Fay. The rescue unit went to several homes to get folks out in case it got worse. My brother was taken across on a boat home because my dad is 85 and was home with the dogs. He lives up on the hill so it was safe there. I finally got to go home around 7. Thank you God for taking care of all of us.

Sheena's Shower at Mackenzie's May 10th, 2008
Mackenzie Brown and her mom Beverly gave Sheena her first wedding shower. All of Sheena's friends and mothers were invited. We had a great time. Sheena got alot of very nice gifts.
